Levi’s + Gentry for Spring 2012

Iconic American brand Levi’s held it’s biannual editor preview day for its new Spring 2012 collection on Stage 37 in New York.

Gentry partnered up with the 130+ year old brand as the exclusive provider of ties, to help tell their new story of the refined and tailored man, which will become a prevalent part of the 2012 Levi’s collection.

One of our favorite stylists, Jenny Ricker, was recently seen giving advice on summer wardrobe basics for men. She cordially tossed our name in the round up:

Ricker suggests pastel or bright-colored linen ties. Her favorites are from Gentry. “It is reminiscent of that preppy, East Coast vibe,” said Ricker. “All guys can wear them. And it’s a great way to add a dash of color at night to get dressed up but still keep it very summery.” Ricker says this look works best with khakis and a linen shirt.”

We just wrapped shooting our FW 2011 campaign (The Williams Collection) and SS 2012 campaign (The Kerouac Collection.

We shot both at the visually stunning and architecturally significant home, The Stahl House Case Study #22.

The Williams Collection was shot by good friend and collaborator, Carl Lindstrom.

The Kerouac Collection was shot by another close friend and  collaborator, J. Everette Perry, who in addition to being a photographer, also doubles as the West Coast Editor of Paper Magazine.

A big thank you to the entire cast and crew who made this 15 person, 10 hour day one of the best in recent memory.
